How can I transfer my In-App Purchase to my child?

Unfortunately, in-app purchases cannot be transferred to other iTunes accounts, even in a family plan.

If you've made an in-app purchase for content in a ToyTalk app and would like to unlock it on your child's device:
  1. Log in to your child's device with the iTunes account you used to purchase the content
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the purchase screen and select "restore purchases"
  3. The content should then be transferred to your child's device and you may log out of it with your personal iTunes account.
